Not that Adobe ruined the text tool in Premiere Pro, can anyone recommend a good third party title plug that can has kerning and other basic controls?

Thanks, I used AE for titling and finished my project. I'm moving to DaVinci Resolve going forward. Done with Premiere Pro.

As someone who works with/for/teaches pro colorists, as well as does a lot of cross-app testing, I spend a fair amount of time in both apps. And am in discussions about Resolve nearly daily by some of the top teaching pro colorists.

 

I'm active in the LGG and Resolve forums as well as MixingLight. I feel reasonably familiar with both Premiere and Resolve.

 

I'll say right off, that both apps have holes.

 

Some minor,  some ... what the ...? biggies.

 

Use whatever works. But neither covers everything perfectly.
