Hi whoever is reading this!

So when the playhead reached the end of the timeline, it automatically starts playing from the start of the timeline. I tried to uncheck the (At playback end, return to beginning when restarting playback) setting in the preferences but it seems to make no difference.

Im on a Macbook pro and i wonder if someone else is facing a similar issue or has found an answer to how to fix this.

Thanks in advance to anyone who has an answer!

P.s I have attached a screenshot for reference

Another thing that would cause that would be the Loop Playback transport control. Check your Program Monitor for an icon that looks like a box with an arrow.

Had the same problem, solved it as gerikp suggested. It's a bit annoying cause I do sound correction as I go and that Loop Playback I need on every time I correct the audio of a clip. Never mind. Thanks for the big help, the main problem was slowing me down a ton.
