Hi,

So yesterday I started to have an issue to transcript and create cc in a short clip from a podcast.

Usually I use a new sequence in Reels/Shorts format, copy the clip from the podcast, transcript, create caption and was ok.

But yesterday, the transcript is only allowing me to transcript the entire podcast and not the short clip. Already tried several things, but its not working.

Any solutions?

Eduardo,

Congrats on finding a way.

To skip transcribing a whole clip if you know which part you want to use, just skip doing any clip/source media transcription (do not turn on auto-transcription).If you have "Follow active monitor" checked, switch to the Sequence/timeline view. If not, switch to the Sequence/timeline view and click the sequence option by the follow active monitor box. Then, on the Transcript tab, from the 3 dot menu, use "Generate static transcript..." and create captions

If you have already done the clip transcription, just switch to the sequence view and create captions.
