Transitions clipping photos

I made a video in Premiere Pro 2017.1 on the mac using the same three transitions. The first 30 seconds of the video, everything flows beautifully. Then the transitions start cutting off the photos. I posted a sample of the middle to end portion of the video on youtube to see if anyone can help me with a solution. I have tried replacing the transition and sometimes it will work for one render and then it will chop the photo. Since the transition works in the front portion of the video, I am leaning toward it being Premiere Pro. Any suggestions? TIA

I figured out that the project did not like vertical photos scaled to a large percentage with this transition. I change the photos to horizontal and the transitions are working again!

Hmmm that's interesting. Try turning off GPU acceleration perhaps (File menu -> Project Settings -> General) and then change Render to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only. Your export will be slower but curious to see if this fixes it!

Does it do that when you preview the sequence in Premiere or only for the rendered video?

It does it in both the preview in sequence and looks exactly the same after it is rendered. I emailed the creator of the transition and he said "You must check "scale" parameter of all transition and overlay footages in your Premiere project." but all the transitions and overlays are set to "scale to frame size."  The image has a track matte key applied. The transition has nothing and the overlay has a tint. If I turn off the transition, I do not get the chopped photos... So it would lead me to think it is the transition. However, parts of the video are good with the same transition. Some of the photos are zoomed in 300% because they were vertical. The photo below is of one of the transitions that is a vertical photo rotated 1 degree and the line is tilted about 1 degree at the top. This edge is not the top of the photo-all images are more than large enough to cover the frame. I am just trying to give all info in the hopes someone can help me figure out what is going on. Thank you!
