Hello,
I'm getting this error message in PP when I try to create proxies. It looks like it works in Media Encoder, but I get an error message and the proxies don't work.
Is this related to the new update?

I'm having the same issue when building proxies. ME will create some proxies but then eventually stalls, fails on several and eventually just crashes and shutdown.
i'm on a 2023 ASUS Duo 16 maxed out with 64GB RAM, RTX 4090, RYZEN 9 processor and 2x 2TB SSDs. Windows 11 Pro. fully updated on all software and drivers.

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?
If NVIDIA graphics, make sure to use the latest Studio Driver from NVIDIA (NOT the Game Driver).

Hello @Gilberto Video Editor,
Thanks for your message. Can you try a clean re-installation of the GPU drivers. Download them from the NVIDIA website. That has been known to solve this issue for others. Try that and report back.
Thanks,
Kevin

I also got the same error, but what worked for me , i shuted down all apps that were using my GPU's memory . That could be anything to Chrome or other specific apps... in my case it was a GPU crypto miner, so while I do this processin premier pro and ME I shut down the miner because it uses my gpu memory ... I hope this helps anyone...I'm using 516.59 DCH drivers

Make sure you have enough system ram and GPU vRam. Shut down some apps that are using your GPU vRam , etc.

Sounds weird. Are you meeting system requirements? https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/system-requirements.html. Let us know.

yep metoo! *very* high specs pc, latest w10, latest drivers, all clean and new. ppro 24.4.1. And everytime we touch Essential Sound we get lost of these errors. System never goes above 15% memory. terrabytes of free space on ssd's. Clearly its a setting/software issue of Adobe.

Is anyone using the 'Enhance Speech' in Essential Sound on any audio clip(s) in their sequence, when this happens?

Yes, I'm getting that issue when using the Enhance Speech. Have 64GB RAM, latest Nvidia Studio drivers. Am not going above 20% memory here, and issue persists @Kevin-Monahan
