I'm using Premiere Pro V25.0.0 Build 61. I have two projects, both which work fine and have been updated to the latest (project file) version by PP when first opened in the new PP V25.
I need to import two sequences from one project to another, (1) a multicam sequence, (2) the sequence containing the videos from each of the cameras used. I get no errors, but having completed the "Import Project" dialogue box (using Import Selected Sequences) and clicking OK, all I get is an import files progress bar popup that just sits there, doing nothing. There's no CPU activity for PP or any of the CC processes. PP does not crash, it just does nothing. I can click cancel and everything is back to normal. Since I've never used this function before, I have no idea if it's the new release of PP or something else.
Is there a way around this?
Kind regards,
Stephen

As a workaround:
Try opening both projects.
Highlight items in the first project > Copy.
Paste into second project.

That worked perfectly. Business (well hobby) as usual. Thanks for the tip.

You're welcome.

I'm having exactly the same problem. It all seems to be working until it starts the IMPORT FILES popup and then it just hangs indefinitely. I'll try the copy-and-paste solution mentioned below.

The workaround from Peru Bob worked for me. Thanks.
Not as elegant as the import, but sometimes you just need to get the job done.

How long time do you wait?
Importing projects take long time, so it is normal for the import dialog to do nothing for a couple of minutes before its done. I imported a large project yesterday and it took 4 minutes, 4 minutes of "nothing happened". In the end it worked, but yes, it takes long time and appears that it has crasched/hanged.

I left the import running for 15 minutes before giving up and clicking the cancel button. Even tried rebooting my PC etc. to see if some other process was getting in the way. No luck! I'll try Peru Bob's workaround tomorrow.

O.k, 15 minutes is far too long.

Facing the same problem after update. Opening and copying works but it's not an ideal method - costs time when you're working on a fast pace enviornment. Adobe needs to get this fixed ASAP. So frustrating! Every update there is one bug or another.

Update: drag and drop to the project window works, way better than copy paste.

Drag and drop from Finder or Explorer is what you are referring to? As that seems to work best.
