Hello everyone!
My issue is the following. I am editing some subtitles were in one section of my video are in the inferior part of the screen. But at a certain point I need to change them and put them is the middle of the Screen. What happens is that for that to happen I need to change the position and in doing that I change the Caption style. And it appears that for you to have a different Caption Style you need a different track. And we all know what happens when you try to enable 2 tracks at the same time (When you enable one, the other disables).
The solution that is given for when you need double subtitles doesn't work because i am not trying to generate a new block of subtitle text rather change the style later in the video.
The only solution I found was saving the file as SRT and exporting it as XML. But premiere won't open my XMLs! But that's for another threat.
Thank you in advance for any solutions you may have and here goes my first post in the community 🙂

You understand the limits - No to two tracks and no to two styles.
Workaround: apply the style (re font, size, etc - and the basic position for most captions) to the whole track.
Now select the captions (all or a few at a time as you need - drag select, shift click) and then change just the position to what you want on those captions.
Do NOT reapply any track style.
Edit: Welcome to the forum!

I dont know if anyone still need a solution but this is what i came up with:
So you make a preset for each position, create a track for each preset, drag sub on needed track and the upgrade that track to Graphics.
