Using multiple files per camera with Multi-Camera sequencing in Premier Pro

My multicam project(s) involve feeds from 5 video cameras. There are some segments where

some of the video segments are in multiple files. For example, check the following scenario:
Camera1: File a1, file a2
Camera2: File b1
Camera3: File c1
Camera4: File d1
Camera5: File e1, file e2

I was trying find how to sync the feeds from 5 cameras in this scenario. The only reference I found in this respect was

in https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/3/962627, comment by Bob Richardson.

Bob mentioned that in this scenario, sync the feeds using only the first file from each camera and then

insert the additional files on to the timeline once the multicam sync is done. I tried it but I was not

successful in inserting the additional files to the timeline. I would appreciate if some help can be

given in this respect. A video showing how the additional files are inserted would definitely help.

set ‘Camera angle’ metadata for each clip (eg A for a1&a2)

then, when making multicam, enable ‘create single multicam source sequence’

and set track assignment to ’camera angle’
