Video/Audio length not importing correctly...

So it's the first time I'm experiencing this problem, I see others from quite a while back have as well... I attached a screenshot.

I'm finding better results for audio editing if I use another audio program. All I do is open the video in the audio program, edit the volume..... import the original video into premiere, unlink, and it's all good.... however, as you can see using QuickTime it clearly says the length is 43.58 but in Premiere it says it's only 43:01 so the last word is cut off.... why does this happen and how to fix?

Try inserting the video in Premiere Pro and then from the Timeline you send it to Audition with right click "Edit Clip in Adobe Audition". So stay always synchronized because it is automatically replaced.

Have you got Adobe Audition installed? You have to.

I'm installing it now -- also I don't see the Interpreter option either.

Is Premiere interpreting it as a 92.98 fps video? If not, fix that in the interpret settings. If there's actually portions of the video missing, then I'd re-import or make a copy of the file, rename it and import that in case it's a cache issue.

I copied the file and changed the name...imported the new file but it says the exact same thing

"File Path: C:\Users\Helena's Computer\Downloads\ChrisBell_ELP4 - Copy.MOV

Type: MPEG Movie

File Size: 80.11 MB

Image Size: 1920 x 1080

Frame Rate: 29.97

Source Audio Format: 44100 Hz - compressed - Mono

Project Audio Format: 44100 Hz - 32 bit floating point - Mono

Total Duration: 00:00:43:01

Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.0

Alpha: None

Video Codec Type: MP4/MOV H.264 4:2:0

Variable Frame Rate Detected"

Yet goldwave says "43.584" as does Quicktime as does Windows Media Player. Playing it in all 3 programs doesn't cut off anything but when I import it for some reason it thinks it's only "43:01".
