Video & Audio Previews & Auto-Save location not where I want them

I just noticed that about a month ago, my folders named above stopped saving in the folders with my Pr Projects, and started saving to my boot disc>User>Documents>Adobe (a folder created by the Adobe apps).

I can't find the option to change the location of those folders BACK to the Pr Project folder (always on my RAID with my footage and other assets).

I want my Previews to be saved with the project.  My RAID is a lot faster than my boot disk, which means my rendering is probably slower too, because of the slower read/write times on my boot disk.

This seems to me pretty screwy and stupid behavior.  I'm on Mac, and Pr version 12.0.1.

How can I force Pr to put my previews and auto-saves where I want them?  I'm not seeing the option in Preferences or anywhere else.

I don't want to uninstall and reinstall if it's going to stick me with 12.1.   I'm in the middle of a big project, and have heard horror stories about 12.1 for Mac not stable for pro use.

If you can help, thank you!

Thanks, Jim.  I just remembered that setting.  I inherited a project from another editor, and that's how my renders ended up in the default location.  Derp.
