Hello

I stumbled upon a problem with the video noise effect in Premiere Pro CC 2018.

Applying the effect to the video works fine in preview, but does not show in the rendered video.

Did anyone encounter this or a similar problem?

I am thankful for any leads.

I can't duplicate the issue.  The effect exports fine.

Try turning CUDA off.  As an accelerated effect, something may be going weird.

Sorry for the late response!

Afterr looking more into this, I have to correct something:

The effect does apply, but the preview schows it way stronger than the exported file.

That wasn't happening here.  The export looked the same as the original.

Have you tried turning off GPU acceleration?

OK.

I can't explain the behavior.  I'm also not seeing it here.  The only other idea I have is to experiment.  Export out different levels of noise to see which one gives you the desired effect.

I did come to the desired effect by experimenting. I guess my new problem is that my preview does not look like the output.

My preview versus my output.

That's the part I have no explanation for.  I can't duplicate the issue here.  My preview and export look the same.
