warp stabilizer work flow questions

If I am using warp stabilizer:

if the take is 30 seconds long, but I am only using
5 seconds, warp stabilizer still stabilizes the entire take, right?

So I have to wait for all that.  How do I confine the stabilizing

to just the 5 seconds?

Then, once stabilized, do I always have to export the clip and
bring it back into PPro to apply other effects?  Is there any

quality loss that way? Is there a short cut for this to not leave PPro?

The potion that is used in the sequence will be stabilized.

Do all your effects last.

I hazy recall that it might be the whole clip cuz if I pull it out longer,

it is still stabilized longer.  And stabilized clips dont allow most of the effects ever.

Hence, the question about reimporting, etc.
