Hello - my waveform in premiere has lines running through it? Never have expierenced this before. Audio sounds good. Also exports sound good. Looks normal in Audition.

What do you mean by lines running through it? The lighter area is your current selection, and the blue line is your current time indicator.

Can you upload a small wave to test?
Have you rebooted your machine?

ALL audio files do this. Not sure what uploading a random audio file will show you. Its not the file.

I have seen this for some years ago in Premiere Pro and it was due to high sample rate and bit depth of the audio file. If i remeber it was 96Khz/24-bit.
So i would start with checking the sample rate and the bit depth of the audio file/s.

That totally makes sense. The strange thing is that it is any and all audio files i import. Is there somewhere in the premiere settings that may need to be changed? I am working with tech support also and they have not figured it out.

If you download this short audio clip and un-zip it and import it, how does it look in the Source panel?

It seems like a re-draw issue in the UI.
- Am i right that you are on a Mac?
- Have the tech support suggested to trash the Preferences?

I wish i was on a Mac! I am on a new pc laptop that i just started using (got it from my IT department). Initially Premiere did not do this.
Tech had me rename my adobe preferences folder to start a new folder, didn't work.
