What is the best non-green screen video background remove for Premiere Pro?

Hey all.  I'm really needing something that takes me out of the background of my bedroom where i'm doing my videos (full transparency, deep budget issues 🙂 ).  What are the best recommendations? (especially on a budget).

@Richard M Knight - just a repetition of what I said to Ishan - 

 The challenge is I have a greenscreen but I can't seem to get the lighting right.  I have a softbox, but I keep getting little artifacts in the space and don't have the budget to get other lights.  I'm not sure what to do so i'm looking into potential other options.  Honestly, if I could get the lighting right with the green screen it's the most easeful.  Any suggestions for having just one softbox?

Hi there,

Having a deep contrast between the subject and the background would still be helpful. There are several online guides on creating backdrops on a budget. Afterward, you can try keying it out in Premiere Pro or, if needed, rotoscoping it in After Effects (using Rotobrush or MochaAE), as Richard pointed out. I suggest leaving the least dependency on rotoscoping and doing your best to create a backdrop before recording your footage. Best of luck!

Luma Key, but it doesn't have as much control as Ultra Key.

I'd focus on the greenscreen technique. Place plenty of distance between you and the greenscreen. Do you have any lights at all yet? Ideally, two (+ a white card/foam core) or three fixtures are going to be fine. Light the greenscreen as evenly as possible and separately from the subject. 

LIght the subject similarly to the proposed background. Warm scene? Use warm colored lights, etc. for the subject.

Flag the subject from the greenscreen ligthing, if possible. A few low cost lamps and a bit of ingenuity could get you in the zone at a low (but not zero) cost. Good luck.

Because you used a green screen, but with not perfect enough lighting, this tool should do an amazing job against the 'greenish' background, but it also works without a green screen to.
