Hi Adobe Support Community,
I have an old Mac running 10.11 El Capitan and a legit serial number and installer from Adobe for reinstalling the Adobe CS3 Master Collection (I still have the original install DVDs). Later on I got CS5 Design Standard, which still works fine but it lacks Premiere Pro. I'd like to teach myself video editing using CS3 Premiere Pro. I installed it but it's version 3.0.0. According to this, the latest version was 3.2.0:

Those download links don't work (Updater downloads "not found on this server."). I remember using the Adobe public ftp to download updaters when I installed CS3 before. What's the ftp for updates for old versions of Premiere Pro, like CS3?
Thanks a lot.
Scott
It's now 2020. As an update, CS3 activation servers are gone. And Adobe ended access to activation-free installers and replacement serial numbers. Customer Care agents cannot help with this matter. CS3 is officially dead.
If you never upgrade your computer or OS, you could potentially keep using CS3 for another 12+ years. But I'm sorry to say that re-installation and updates are no longer an option.

Adobe has stopped licensing the older versions.
There is probably no update available.

Thanks Rob. Appreciate your note. I contacted Adobe and they sent me a Mac .dmg for reinstalling CS3 without the DVDs, along with a new serial number for that install. I just used them and it still works. Licensing is not a problem. The problem is the updates for Premiere Pro. Either based on advice from Adobe or a forum like this one (can't remember), I accessed the Adobe ftp and downloaded updaters for each program I used regularly (see attachment), in case I ever needed to install again. However, I neglected to do the same for Premiere Pro and I'd like to do that now. Has that ftp been disabled?

Does not the update button within the program work?

Thank you Ann. That's right, it doesn't work. After clicking through this Registration alert (attached), I get this Updater alert (also attached):

Activation or connection error when starting CS3 or Acrobat 8
Obtain a new serial number | CS3
Download Adobe CS4 and CS3 Free Trials Here (incl. After Effects) | ProDesignTools
This might give you the latest version of cs3.

Thank you Ann. I don't have that issue. Please see my reply above.

After clicking links, it seems that CS3 is completely gone from Adobe, since the CS3 links are either gone or redirected to a new link that does not include CS3
The CS3 activation server has been removed, so trying to do anything from inside the program if you do have that old version installed is not going to work... since there is nothing there to respond for any request from inside CS3

Thanks John. Roger that. I actually never expected the in-program updater to work. Although I'm not 100% sure, I don't think conventional download links like these worked years ago either: https://supportdownloads.adobe.com/product.jsp?product=98&platform=Macintosh
However, the Adobe-run ftp did work then. And either Adobe customer support or a forum like this one recommended using it. But I can't find that ftp now.
