When I "media replace" a new video into an MOGRT, the audio doesn't work?

Hello all,

I've created an MOGRT in AE and brought it into my Premiere project. In this MOGRT is a video file placeholder that I'd like to replace with a video file in my Premiere Project Bin. However, when I drag the new video file into the Essential Graphic palceholder so, the audio doesnt play. The video plays fine, but there is no Audio. Am I missing something here?

Hey @jonm18318314,

Thanks for the note. I believe it's possible. Please see my comment here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/how-can-you-include-sound-in-motion-graphics...

Let us know if that worked for you.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hello Kevin,

Thanks for the response. It seems this amounts to the idea of adding my raw video to the track, then just overlaying the MOGRT with the same video inserted into another video lane above the audio/video of the non-MOGRT track. So, just syncing up the MOGRT to the audio of another track, rather than having audio in the MOGRT itself. is that correct? It's basically how I've had to work around it already, but it seems a rather inelegant solution if I'm understanding correctly.
