Hi VDJ,

Sorry about that. Can you post a screenshot of your Export Settings so we can see what's going on?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi VDJ,

What happens if you try Software Encoding for your export settings?

Thanks,

Hi VDJ,

I don't think it's possible after discussing the issue with engineering They said bit rate is always an upper limit, not exact. Imagine you have a silent audio file. There is no reason why we would use 320kbps to represent silence. Put another way, if there are parts of the audio that can be compressed losslessly and still be under 320kbps, then the actual bitrate will be lower.

I hope the explanation helps.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi VDJ,

Sorry. As I explained, that is expected behavior according to our engineers. I am sorry if you misunderstood me.

I am sorry to tell y'all this, but AAC as used as audio tracks in H.264 and HEVC video footage has always been VBR, with the selected bitrate being the peak bitrate. CBR AAC audio never existed in any video content.
