Where are essential sound presets stored?

I accidentally deleted one.  I have a copy of CC on my laptop and would love to just move the single file as opposed to reinstalled.

Hi attentionengine,

Essential Sound presets are located here: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Pro\11.0\Presets\EssentialSound

Thanks,

Rameez

I do not think you can do that & I won't suggest that either.

If you accidentally deleted anything which was there by default, I would suggest you to re-install the app.

Thanks,

Kulpreet Singh

So does this mean if I create a bunch of presets on my desktop there is no way to migrate them to my laptop or other machines at our office?  I would have hoped they could either be synced via the creative cloud or manually like other presets!

thanks

Kulpreet would have been referring to built-in presets with the app.

Was this a preset you'd made, or one that came with the app?

A prebuilt one. Hit delete by accident when I meant to hit remove sound type Via essential sound panel.

But it either way bummer they don’t sync and can’t be swapped.

Re-installing the app would take what, five, ten minutes? And you'd be back to where you were.

Unfortunately this is apparently no longer true for Windows 11.  Is there somewehere else now?

I use 'Everything' for searching Windows, it's a great program.

So, I save a preset with a unique name. Quit PP to be sure, then using Everything, search for it.

%UserProfile%\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\23.0\Profile-%UserName%\Settings\EssentialSound\Default\dialog

Paste into explorer the line above.

Get "Everything" https://www.voidtools.com/  (Best search program I've ever used)

Awesome, that's really helpful - thank you!  I think my issue is that I'm in a corporate hell environment and I'm not allowed access to any of these files, cos they're installed into an admin folder - crazy.  Thanks for the help!
