Hi, please forgive my rookie question (if you can) as I only got Pro a couple of days ago. I wondered where I can store my B-roll, ie footage that is not yet assigned to any particular project? Would like to just save general video for future use, rather than have to assign it to a project immediately. Is there a general store video? Thanks.

Each project in normal "stand-alone" use of Premiere is a separte thing, not connected to other projects. So it doesn't have a database setup of media or assets to grab & reuse.
Their Productions mode is different ... and even though I'm a one-man shop, I work nearly totally in Productions. It is very different, but very efficient.

Amend: "Place to store video" rather than "general store video", which sounds like Blockbuster...

Your media is not stored in the projects. The Project file is just a database that points to the actual footage.
You store your media wherever you choose to keep it.

Premiere actually makes a folder system on-disc of this, btw. And then within those folders make folders for individual projects, and within those folders, make projects.
So my b-roll and audio assets and templated sequences and such are available all the time for a quick drag/drop to use in a different project.
