Define "good driver". Nvidia has made some horrible drivers over the last couple years, and the old statement we always used to give, update to the newest, is often itself a source of problem.
So ... what specific Nvidia driver do you have? We need to know that. And yea, if it don't like the driver you need to change it.

Probably since you may be using an old driver. Go to nvidia.com and download the latest driver and install that. Choose the Studio Driver.

Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers
Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter

If you have a laptop you MAY also need to check for a laptop specific nVidia driver
