I've been using Premiere probably longer than most of their staff have worked there and it really blows my mind how this huge bug still lives on strong in this piece of software. I use DaVinci, FCP and other NLEs and have never seen this issue with any of them.
This must've been plaguing Premiere Pro for about 15 years now. I mean people use transparency all the time.. can we please prioritise this? I feel like I'm paying enough for this software to have a bug this major ironed out within y'know... like, a decade?
In frustration,
i9, 16GB, Win10 (latest updates), RTX 3090 24GB (latest game ready driver), Premiere Pro (latest version + Beta both have this issue). Literally just a colour matte created in Premiere with a .png with transparency on top, I swear.

Today's workaround was use cross dissolve instead of opacity rubberbands. In this case, this workaround is acceptable so I'll roll with this.
Grr.
Thanks to anyone choosing to respond to frustrated, ill, deadline chased me.
