Hello,
I'm having the following issue with Premiere (the latest version) and I would like to know if is there someone experiencing the same issue and if there is a possible fix.
I have updated to Windows 11 and when I started editing in premiere the audio is just awful while editing, at the point that I had to export the video to check if the sound editing was correct using an external player as I couldn't have a proper audio playback in the premiere.
I have noticed that if I play music or a video on my laptop the audio is great, but if I let the sound as background while I am using premiere the audio completely changes the quality.
If I am active on the premiere, the audio is bad.
if I keep premiere open while I am active in any other tab (Chrome, desktop, VLC player) the audio is normal.
All Drivers are updated and Premiere is updated to the latest version.
Thank you.

Thanks man, this is gold. Worked the same as you - no imput.
It seams that the problem it's related with THX drivers, super annoying.

Also, if the music is mp3, convert it to wav before importing into Premiere Pro.
Mp3 files can behave wonky in Premiere Pro.
