Wont save

For some reason premiere pro won't let me save but only save as. I can't do control-s and other functions just dont work, such as reveal project in explorer or copy and paste. I've tried updating and looking online but that didn't help at all. What should I do?

Use Ctrl+Alt+Shift when starting Premiere to reset preferences. Hopefully, this should help.

Try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

Is the project set to read-only?

Check the "Toggle the project between read-only and read/write" button at the lower left of the Project panel.
