Working on a project (no media) in a creative cloud shared folder?

I have two editors one is working in house, one is working from home. Both have an exact copy of the media drive, so I dont need to sync media. Can I put my (Productions) Project in a shared Creative cloud folder and both work at the same time? Other than render files the syncing seems like it would be pretty light, Is there a reason I shouldn't do this? Am I missing something?

For something like this I'd just give it a try and see if it works for you. This seems like it'd be an easy situation to test as you've already got everything set up.
