Hello,
I've created my own metadata schema in PPro. Now I'm trying to write to it via ESTK.
I've checked out the PProPanel and it appears it's possible to do this. I've even gone as far as testing this out by writing to the "Author" and "Artist" fields in the Dublin Core and Dynamic Media schema.
Here is a line from the PProPanel:
var have_a_scene = xmp.doesPropertyExist(XMPConst.NS_DM, "scene");
which I believe accesses the Dynamic Media schema.
My question is, how do I access the schema for my custom built metadata set?
any ideas?
thanks,
Kelly

I'm interested is seeing this sample code as well. I would love to be able to access a custom schema via extendscript. Any idea on when the sample will be posted?

It's going to take a little feature work within PPro, I'm afraid, before you'll get an API to access your custom data. And we can't discuss dates.

can we do this with after effects also?

That bears further investigation (I nominate Zac, haha), but the same basic 'enumerate available custom schemae in Metadata panel' plumbing is there.

Hey Bruce,
Has there been any new information on this topic?
thanks,

Such functionality likely won't make it into our forthcoming release; it's still high on the list for future versions...
