Hi,

I try to zoom in a small video which is masked. When I use the scale parameter I have the problem, that the mask is also scaling which I don't want. I want the mask to not change and only scale the video.

Thanks for your support

Mask is attached to the frame.

Keyframe the expansion property.

I'm sorry, I'm relatively new to premiere pro and my version is in german. Could you be a bit more precise? Where do I find the expansion property?

Last property in the Mask. Have no idea what it is called in German.

Alternative nest the clip and put the mask on the nest.

Scale the clip within the nest.

Gutentag Philipp,

Expansion expands and contracts the size of the mask. Cool, but you don't want that.

If you want to scale the material within the mask, you can use Ann's method of nesting the clip, adding the mask to the nest, and scaling the clip inside the nest. Try it and report back.

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks for your help, Ann and Kevin. Think nesting the clip will do it!

Someone had the same question yesterday, Phillipp. It must be a popular effect. Good luck.
