zoom in overlay video

New Here ,
Jan 02, 2019 Jan 02, 2019

Hello,

How can i zoom in a video in a overlay video?

It is not possible through scale. Then the image is larger and that should not be.

It must be a small screen in the corner. It revolves around the main image.

Is there any other way to zoom the overlay video?

The little screen need to be zoom in the airplane.

Nest the overlay video (right click > nest) and adjust the scale in the nested sequence.

You need to zoom in the nested sequence (the new sequence), not the main sequence.

Browsing many years later, but had to reply to this comment and just say how ridiculously unhelpful it was.

"I'm having trouble with this problem"

"Have you read this 812 page PDF yet?"

I looked at your last 100 or so posts and it was all helpful advice, so I'm assuming you were having a bad day. How are you now?

Use Transform and Crop. With Crop being below the transform. Or use a Alpha key to block out the other parts.

You are adjusting the scale in the main sequence.  You need to open the nested sequence and adjust the scale there.

Double click the clip in the main sequence and it will open the nested sequence.

It do not work what you say.

See the video below.

Via scale increases that the screen and not the object. Really not the object must be greater the screen.

You need to change the sequence setting of the nested sequence (not the main sequence) to match the pixel size of the overlay video.

We just had this discussion the day before you posted, have you browsed or searched the forums at all.

Here's the thread:

Zoom in a photo without loosing the height and width and keeping the black background Premiere pro c...

I got it to work using the nest sequence. BTW: when you nest for the 6th or 7th time you then didn't go into the sequence to adjust the zoom, and then back out to the main sequence to see the results.
