hey there, some people install videos from youtube sometimes even 4k footage from youtube but youtube compresses it to an codec called vp09 its for 4k and higher. premiere pro doesnt support it which makes editors need to reencode these again or go with lower quality videos. also add the av1 codec as its open source and its even better then h.265

Here's the problem:
Microsoft has depreciated the codec, and is now no longer supporting VP09 at all in its Microsoft Edge browser. This caused Google to completely block out access to its YouTube video content from Edge. This dictated NLE makers' support for the codec, and most of them (including Adobe) opted to comply with Microsoft's guidelines.
