Hey,

I am annoyed:

does the AE Team and the Premiere Team talk to each other?

The only reason why i am using premiere is, becaus it works with AE well together.

But every time i duplicate something in PP it ads copy 01 copy 02 etc. (Kopieren 01)

1. the number is without underscore which can be trublesome in a server related enviroment

2. Why cant we have an upcounting of the number that is alleready used?

like : sequence_01 truns into sequence_02 and not into >>>> sequence_01 copy 01

After Effects does this like a sharm.

We dont have to invent the wheel new.

Any Editing software I know does this.

But maybe I am to stupid to understand the concept behind this.

Then pls

enlighten me.

I want to be able to choose my name and numbering without getting a copy

The weirdest thing is:

once you enter the xxx copy 01 version >>>> pp is able to increment the numbers to xxx copy 02

So why on earth cant I increment my own number?

Who is in favor of a new increment feature ?

Say yes to increment your number .....

And DevTeam : you can keep your copy 01 etc

Just let us increment our own number too.

Its easy ...

And by the way > no one will notice > but it makes a big difference.

cheers Peter
