How to turn off track expand shrink when mousing in the timeline?

Good day Adobe Community,

When mousing in the timeline (not the header section) of Premiere Pro, especially when lassoing to select clips on tracks, sometimes the tracks vertical size expands and/or shrinks (most of the time the tracks shrink in size). How do I turn this feature off?

If I need to expand and shrink the tracks, I usually go over to the track headers anyways. Keeping this function from activating while on the timeline itself would really help to only activate one function (lasso selection) rather then activating two functions at the same time.

Thank you for any help.

This is default behavior. No means of turning it off.

I moved this thread from discussion to Ideas.

It is sometimes annoying when you accidental moved up all your audio tracks.
