Hi,

 I work with shows that have hundereds and hundreds of subtitles that need to be tweaked and it would be a huge time saver for Selection Follows Playhead to work for the subtitle layer on the timeline.

Kind off: turn on track targeting for C1 and an empty video track. Now you can use arrow up/down.

It's not working for me. What are your arrow up/down shortcut keys mapped to? By default, mine are Move Selection Up/Down.

@Greg5D91 @AndrewTheGreat,

There's a special shortcut for captions. You'll see it under Sequence -> Captions -> Go to next/previous caption segment. Ctrl+Alt+ Up/Down arrow.

This moves to and selects the caption.

It works with the caption track targeted or not and with selection follows playhead on or off.
