Hello,

After updating the latest version of premiere pro ( 2017 ) when I cut a clip on the timeline it add 1 frame extra to next clip, so if I want to rejoin the clip again I have to delete this extra frame then rejoin through edit

any ideas?

Thanks

Does it do it if you use CTRL - K instead?

What do you mean by "it adds one frame extra to the next clip?" That would mean that, simply after using the razor tool, you have two identical frames in a row. I am unable to replicate this.

When you use the razor tool, the current frame on screen will be retained in the second clip (the one on the right). It will not be a part of the clip on the left. You are cutting before the current frame and excluding it from that clip. Conversely, when you set an out point, you are including the current frame in your clip.

If you zoom in really close on your timeline, you can see the difference between Cmd-K (Ctrl-K on a PC) and O.

That's weird, man.  Does the frame rate of the clip match that of the sequence?  Has the frame rate been Interpreted?

Interesting. Are these actually duplicate frames, or are they falsely displaying as such? (See here: Incorrect duplicate frame markers for what appears to be a similar bug.)
