Selection follows playhead - Please Please Please

Can someone tell me why this keeps coming back on after I turn it off.

Sure, it is useful... sometimes... but more often I need it off

It is without a doubt the most annoying thing in Prem at the moment.

Is there anyway to keep it off?

I find making any Lumetri changes, in the colour workspace or, in my instance, a custom workspace, makes the 'selection follows playhead' turn on. It would be nice if it didn't.

That is by design as ... well ... don't most folks want the Lumetri controls affecting the clip they're seeing? For me, would be crazy to be working color correction tools without seeing the scopes & program-monitor of the clip being changed.

I have a custom workspacee over 2 monitors and I cannot find what randomly turns it on.

Lumetri adjustment does not turn it on.

I have made a short cut so it is easier to toggle. still annoying

You can set it off and it should stay off ... but the exception is it is on by default in the Color workspace [Lumetri] panel.

Is it coming back on in other workspaces?
