Zoom to Sequence Shortcut from Timeline?

Engaged ,

Sometimes I'd like to see exactly the entire sequence in my timeline. I could Zoom In or Zoom Out till I get there and that's OK, but what I'd prefer is a single key shortcut that takes me straight there. Keyboard Shortcuts offers Zoom to Sequence and that's exactly what I want. But, at least on the system I'm on right now, it only works if the Record Monitor is highlighted and not when the, seemingly more appropriate, timeline window is highlighted.

Am I missing something? Is this something that has been changed in more recent versions? Is there a different shortcut for when the timeline is highlighted?

Backslash (\) is the default shortcut for Zoom to Sequence. For me, it works regardless of the window I'm in. What do you mean by Record Monitor?

Jeff, you must have time on your hands while waiting for client feedback right now as well.

I should have written 'Program Monitor,' not 'Record Monitor.' Sorry.

After your reply I switched to the default keyboard layout and with that the backslash zoomed the sequence no matter what window is highlighted as you said. I'm working though with a custom keyboard layout that I built from the Avid Media Composer 5 option. I mapped Zoom to Sequence to the forward slash key (unmodified) and it's only responding when the Program Monitor is highlighted.

It looks like you and I just found another bug.
