HTML code issues

Question

I have a topic that was once stable, but now at one point in the topic the style is correct. But in another area, the style will not take and the HTML code inserts etc., etc. Here is an example if you look at the H2 head:Revoking PI User Access

Access for both a PI user and a SCADAView user can be revoked if a Mantis ticket requesting removal from IT AccessRequest exists. For Mantis tickets, make sure that a Real Time Systems User ID Add-Changed-Remove form completed by the user’s E4 manager is attached to the ticket. If not, contact the requestor.

In order to remove access, you must search for the user name in both the old and new databases:

After revoking a PI user's access, you also need to remove the user's name from the Outlook Address Book. For instructions, click here.

Removing a user's access in the old database

Go to the SCADA website at HTTP://SCADA.
When the SCADA & Distribution Automation home page displays, under PI Historian, click User Maintenance (circled in red). Click to view.
When the SCADA System Logon screen displays, perform the following:

For User Id, enter your PI user id.
For Password,enter your PI password.
For Select Group, click PRG from the dropdown list.
Click .

Result: The User Administration screen displays the user's information. Click to view.

If the user id is recognized, but PI access must be removed while keeping SCADAView.
If the user id is recognized, but PI access must be removed while keeping SCADAView access, uncheck the PI Access checkbox and click .

Result: If the PI-only access removal is successful you should see this message (circled in red).

If both SCADAView and PI Access must be removed, click .

Result: If both SCADAView and PI access removal is successful you should see the following message (circled in red). Click to view.

NOTE: The User ID is the person’s LAN user id. This removes the user id from the GLOBE_USER table.

Removing a user's access in the new database (Windows Active Directory)

Remote desktop to either server: cccs-pifig01 or lc3s-pifig01.
Double-click the Energy PI Users Group.
When the Energy PI Users Properties dialog displays, select the Members tab. See below.

Select the LAN user name on the screen and click .

Result: The user is removed from the PI access Active Directory user database.

Removing a user's name from Outlook

This procedure involves removing the newly deleted user from the T&D PI Users group in the Outlook Address Book.

Open the address book in Outlook.
Locate and delete the user’s name from the T&D PI Users group.
Complete the Mantis ticket.
If the user is on the Terminated Employees list, enter the employee’s user id in the PI Access column and highlight the entire row with an orange background color.

I am exhausted from deleting specific HTML code to make the content work. Plus there seems to be an issue with the margins moving around. Can someone help me with this HTLM code nightmare? Other than deleting it all and inputting the text again? This is the only topic in my project in which this has occurred.

Hi thereWhile it may seem laborious to re-create a topic, it's actually pretty simple. Here is how I might approach it.From the editor, copy the content to your clipboard.Open an instance of Windows Notepad, then paste the content in.Delete all the code from the topic so it's nice and clean.Copy the content from Windows Notepad back to your clipboard.Paste the content back into the topic and re-create any headings, links, popups or whatever.The thing is, sometimes it's like chasing ghosts. RoboHelp may be munging or gagging on some code. The side trip to Notepad should clear any code issues as that will strip away underlying code.Hopefully this helps a bit...
