Hello, can't believe how this system works but I came top contributors for the week just a week ago and today I am having account validation issue.
Is there a way to solve this? Thanks.
Account validation issues usually means your account has been suspended pending an investigation for violating Adobe Contributor Terms of Use. The only course of action in this case is to Contact Contributor Support via the link they provided. Their initial reply should be in a day or two after contacting them, and the following investigation can take a few weeks. Be patient, and provide any information requested if any.
You need to contact Adobe directly for info as to how resolve this issue. The forum members are not Adobe employees and have no ability to look into or comment on the status of your account. Are you perhaps a Generative AI contributor? Apparently, some accounts that have assets not properly identified as Generative AI are getting temporarily suspended while a review is underway.

I love it (I guess). Sadly this suggests how poorly they handle contributors I guess. Just no explanation and direct suspension. Serves top contributors right for their efforts. 🙂
Not much hope, but I guess let's wait.

It's quite possible that a Buyer has reported one or more assets as being of poor quality or non-compliant in some way. Adobe takes such reports very seriously as they want to maintain the integrity of the database. This is not "poor handling of Contributors". We've seen many reports here in the forum of Contributors buying their own work to boost their sales numbers, uploading other's works, or other violations of the T&C's. Some violations get you banned permanently. Some can be resolved. But it takes time.
Meanwhile, you can search this forum for "account validation" and you will see other reports and responses as to how to solve it. Basically, it involves contacting Adobe directly via the means they advised you on the Account Validation issue page, and waiting for their response as to how to resolve the issue. You should also review the Adobe Stock Contributor Agreement which will help you to understand where you might have gone wrong.

Where does it say that poor quality leads to account closure? Is there no quality control anymore?

There has been an AI learning curve for Moderators. I believe they're much better now at spotting errors in AI assets, however initially many, many flawed images were accepted into the database. Buyers complained, and apparently Adobe decided that a re-review of many accounts was needed. That's one of the reasons why so many accounts have been suspended and investigated recently. Even before the influx of AI, the conventional wisdom has been that a Contributor should aim to maintain an acceptance rate of more than 50%. Dropping below that means that Adobe is having to review 2 or more of that Contributor's assets for every 1 that is considered saleable.

It will be interesting to follow what happens with the approval processes. Adobe Stock is being flooded with all kinds of AI - both great images and crap. And we are only seeing the beginning. They will be VERY busy. Will they close every other account for half a year? Are there still approval processes for new contributors? Plagiarism and theft will reach an unprecedented scale. But it is a sign of the times.

I think the recent spate of blocked accounts has scared many of the scammers and rule-breakers into compliance. Many are just looking to make a quick buck, but now have to face the reality that cheating isn't going to get them there. It's still the "Wild West" in Generative AI, which is why Adobe has had to continuously revise their processes. There is no approval process to become a Contributor - you just open up a Stock account and start uploading. If you've been watching any of the sessions from Adobe MAX yesterday and today, there is no doubt whatsoever that Adobe is "all-in" on the future of AI.

Yes - they got to tage the good with the bad ... If people are reviewing then I fully understand that unemployment is going down in the USA! Um - sorry India I guess... Adobe have to employ thousands of people.

I don't think Adobe has thousands of reviewers, but they may have a few hundred. I assume they're offshore employees, earning far less than what Adobe would have to pay someone in their HQ in San Jose, California to do the job of reviewing assets all day long...

Check your contributor terms and conditions.

Hi @Shafayi ,
The thing is the terms, condition and guidelines are there and we are all expected to read and follow them. Also, one of the terms and condition of contributing is that they retain the right to suspend or close your account without notice. You signed to that.
If you are submitting a new file format, it is best practice to read the guidelines first.
Best wishes

Work on other things while the process completes.
Adobe may temporarily suspend or permanently terminate a Stock Contributor account for any of the following:
1) Suspicious sales or refund activity,
2) They received an official infringement complaint or "take down" notice from a 3rd party,
3) Suspected violation of Stock Contributor User Terms,
4) Spamming the system,
5) A technical problem that only Stock Support can fix.
Contributor Support is busy with inquiries. If you don't hear anything within 10 business days (check your spam folder for a reply), send a follow-up request.
Good luck.

Use the link to contact Adobe contributor support. As you were a top contributor for one week and that did not happen gradually, Adobe probably flagged your account for suspicious activities. I'm certain that every one here is convinced that you got flagged by error, but still:
Whatever the reason is, you should really look into the contributor agreement for any violations. We can't know any of the reasons, without you telling us what it is. But you can be sure that Adobe dislikes locking out best-selling contributors for no reason. Because that is profit for them too.

Sir/mam, I am facing the account login issues because of your mistake. Please do investigate because I am uploading files since 2020.In these year, I never violate any term and conditions. Today, I am facing "validation status issue". Please investigate that who created issues for me without any issues. I already emailed you in which I explained my problem. 3 days ago, I also received email from you, in that email, you said that you suspended my account due to irregular sales but I never violate any term and conditions. I never involved in this type of violation. Please ask your team to solve this problem and thank you for your these kind of services and behaviour.

I would encourage you to read through the rest of this post. Most of the the replies to the OP also apply to you.
Cheers!

If your account has been suspended, there is nothing that this community of peers can do for you. You will need to contact Adobe contributor support via the link at “Contact us”. Adobe will answer via e-mail, so watch your spam folder. The answer may take some time, depending on the workload of contributor support and the complexity of the investigation. So be patient and do not spam the contributor support.

Please note that the fora are monitored by end-users including fellow contributors that do not have access to your contributor account. The link on your contributor page is what you should use to communicate with Adobe. Please allow some time for Adobe to reply to the e-mail sent.

I suppose you wanted to say: "are not monitored by Adobe."
