create a thumbnail for my video, is it possible?

hello

for videos, I understood that adobe stock generates its own thumbnail,
mine are often black at the beginning, (they are motion graphics on a black background)
and even if the mouse hover (a customer visit) probably triggers the animated video preview,
is there a way to create a preview thumbnail ourselves or to modify it?, if so, where? and how? thank you.
Correct answer Nancy OShea

So who at adobe management will answer the question `" can you change the video preview that is shown on the website ?

Read the Adobe Contributor User Guide containing Adobe's official Stock policies.

Preview images

Do: Be aware that your video's preview image will be automatically generated from a frame 5 seconds into the video.

You choose which frame to put in the 5-second slot.

you know, my images all look a bit similar, imagine an animated line.
that's not a very helpful answer 🙂
well, i'll figure it out and take a screenshot of my preview upon submission,
and compare it to the final preview.
have a great week and sorry for taking up your time

Add a still image to the first 5 seconds of your video clip.

thanks, I understand, I'll see if I can put a still image at the fifth second, but often it corresponded to the end of my vfx, or to a black transition between two vfx if I make a pack, I could maybe just lengthen the effect by one second, I'll try that too, . second question, is the preview of the video when we create the keywords to submit it the final preview? would that allow us to know if it's good or not?

Well, if it's not working with the last image, it could work with the first one.

Making the first 5 seconds a single still image would eventually earn you a refusal.

No, that is a long-standing request from the community, but it is still not possible. You could try if setting a first image will change something here and does not augment the refusal rate. The cover picture is chosen from the first 5 seconds of the video.

From the Adobe helpx pages:

It is not possible. Adobe selects a frame out of your video. I do not know if it is random or not.
