Finger Problems.

Hi Everyone,

I am still new to the art of AI and am struggling to get the fingers of people right. Either 6/7 fingers instead of 5 or pieces of fingers missing. I have tried several negative prompts but just cant get it right. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    • Prompt writing is part science & art. Take time to learn the technology you're working with.
    • For best results, use simple, common words.  And avoid negatives. 
    • Trial & error can be tedious at first.  You'll need multiple diffusion cycles to perfect the prompt.
    • Think like a computer.  Computers do what you tell them.  Be precise.

    Most AI software has inpainting so you can just mark thge hands and have it just regenerate that part of the image until it's correct, or ofcourse you could use controlnet or something so that you can use openpose hands and choose the exact pose, position, etc... of the hands themselves

        What AI software are you using? You are making it kind of difficult for yourself, since having three human subjects in a single image increases your changes of getting mangled hands and fingers. There's no magic to getting hands to be generated perfectly. In my experience, using negative prompts are of little or no use. 

        Adobe Community Expert | If you can't fix it, hide it; if you can't hide it, delete it.
