Image size requirements

I'm a newbie and need a little help with the required image sizes.   If I set the resolution to 300P/I and width to 1067W and height to 1600H, is that sufficent?   Do I need a higher resolution?

Thanx!

No, that isn't sufficient.  The minimum size required is 4 MP (mega pixels).  The size you mentioned in your post is only 1.7 MP (1,067 X 1,600 = 1,707,200)  The 300 pixels per inch are irrelevant for your submissions and are only referring to printing standards. As @Jill_C mentioned, submit your images in the highest resolution possible as it will give more flexibility for buyers.

As a side note: Coca-Cola bottles will fail for IP reasons at the end of the day. Don't bother to submit them.

Thanks Rob.  I also found a chart to help me:

  • 4MP = 2688 x 1520
  • 6MP = 3072 x 2048
  • 8MP = 3840 x 2160

You should not resize. As soon as your picture meets the minimum requirements, you can submit.

You should not constrain the resolution in any way. Submit the highest resolution / largest file that your camera is capable of.
