do you have any information about the 50 photo upload limit? does it only apply to new users? because if the limit is 50 photos and the checks last for 1 month it is practically impossible to do anything

thanks

Why are you posting this if it doesn't directly effect you?

50 submissions is a lot for a first-time contributor.

The question is how many of them will be accepted and sell?  It doesn't matter if their assets are reviewed this month or next.  It all balances out at year end.  🤔 🤔

Great to have that confirmed. For new contributors, that should be a great opportunity to be selective with their uploads.

Why? You put your 50 assets in the queue and wait for acceptance. What do you want to do other? 50 in a month would be OK for me.

If you have really a 50 assets upload limit, you need to upload only the best. You will have a high acceptance rate, and your upload limit will grow. If you submit only scrap, your limit will narrow. I think that is a great deal, to handle this.

exactly it doesn't matter if it's not for me, I have a high limit, so I know the reason I don't need to explain that it goes by rejections etc.

I had asked from the beginning for a new user starting out and in my opinion a limit of 50 so random is baso for such a long wait

evidently they want to limit the growth of new users who want to start selling images

Evidently, they want to limit new users submitting masses of bad quality assets, clogging the moderation queue and earning massively rejections. Evidently, as your situation shows, if new users prove, that they can submit good quality assets, their limit will grow to a more substantial number of outstanding assets.

Evidently, this will help all contributors, as moderation will go faster for us all, including the new users.

Evidently, that user is a friend of yours, so you can pass on the message, that when they submit high-value assets, they will get a more interesting upload limit.

If this is your second identity, that you established to circumvent your upload limit of 3000, you may face problems, as I read somewhere, that Adobe does not recommend this.

Adobe has been silent on the specifics of the upload limits which were implemented a few months back as a response to the massive influx of Generative AI assets. However, we have gleaned from various posts here and in the Adobe Stock Discord Channel that the limit varies by Contributor. Apparently those who have a low percentage of rejects and have actually sold some of their AI assets can earn a higher limit. The limit is meant to encourage you to carefully edit your submissions, not upload a bunch of similars and ensure that they meet Adobe's quality standards. Review time is now estimated at 2 months or more. While you're waiting, you can review your submissions again and ensure that they meet all the requirements, and you can continue to create new assets to be uploaded at a later time.

in this case it's for a friend of mine who just started, so the first 50 images where nothing has been vwnd because it's still under control and therefore also no rejection, it's ridiculous to put the block at 50 for someone who just started

I have a higher limit

Given the huge influx of AI, and the initially high rejection rate, I don't think that implementing a small limit on new Contributors is unreasonable. Think of it as an interview. If the first submissions are acceptable, then the limit will be raised. There are now more than 12 million AI assets in the database, and probably millions more queued up waiting to be reviewed. Adobe is not hungry for more AI stuff. I have been submitting photographs for 5+ years and have never had 50 pending at any one time and certainly would not have been offended if Adobe had put a cap on my submissions.
