Hello! I have uploaded several photos of black truffle and all of them were not approved. The reason that i did not put that it is AI, but it is original photo! And AI cant make this thing at all in such quality)))) I really dissapointed with this.  It seems to me that 90 of my pics are AI and person who checked my content thought that i did not marked it and i really did not marked it beacuse it is a photo..

What was your actual rejection reason?

In terms of quality, it could well be rejected for this reason. As @RALPH_L  mentioned - focus is a problem here in both photos. Composition could also be better. You could make the truffles more appealing, rather than just on a white piece of paper!

Regardless, both photos are not in focus and will probably be rejected.

Yes, the rejection reason given to you was “NON-COMPLIANT IMAGE”. The reason given to you enumerate 3 of the most common of the many reasons for getting a non-compliant refusal:

The text is simply a stock text, and that also appears on my 6 years old refusal. Nobody was talking about generative AI at that time.

Nobody is even thinking that what you presented here is generative AI. Incidentally, the moderator didn't think that neither. They clicked refusal number 5 (any number from one to nine). Easy, fast, next asset.

There are now two possibilities:

  1. You include in your keywords or titles, something that is not allowed. That is somehow doubtful, as those can be corrected and are sent to the reminder tab. Only if the issue is not addressed, you will get a non-compliant image refusal. So that's your knowledge!
  2. The moderator wanted to refuse for quality issues and just selected the wrong reason. That happens occasionally, and confuses novices. As others pointed out, your assets contain serious flaws and are not up to the required standards for Adobe stock.

There is always only one refusal reason given to you. And indeed, checking stops as soon as the moderator sees an error. So even if there are multiple reasons to refuse, the moderator does not even care, as he needs to moderate the next 1,000 assets. It does also not make sense to further look at the asset because one reason is enough. So accept what experience teaches us.

The standard rejection code that you probably received shows 3 possible reasons for rejection, only one of which is undeclared AI. As @George_F indicated Non Compliant image is one of the other reason codes, whichis explained here:

I have a feeling the rejection reason was "Non Compliance", but I'm not 100% sure.  Would you be willing double check the reason Adobe listed?

If it is a Non Compliance rejection, then it means one of the general rules wasn't followed correctly, and not marking as AI is one of the examples that is given.  Double checking keywords and titles for trademarked or copyrighted terms is a great place to start for this one.

It could be the Reviewer ticked the wrong box. These should have been rejected for Technical / Quality reasons.
