Need Guidance on Having Separate Accounts for Image, Video & Vector Uploads

Hi everyone,

I hope you're all doing well.

I’ve been an Adobe Stock contributor for some time and I currently have three separate contributor accounts:

One account for AI-generated images

One account for AI-generated videos

One account for vector content (currently inactive and not used)

These accounts were created back when Adobe’s policy on multiple accounts was less strict or unclear. But now I’ve seen the updated guidelines (as of March 25, 2025), which mention that multiple accounts are no longer allowed without written permission from Adobe.

Before contacting Adobe Support directly, I wanted to ask the experienced members of this community:

👉 Has anyone here received written approval from Adobe to manage separate accounts for different content types?

👉 Is it considered safe to keep accounts separated this way, as long as the content is not duplicated?

Also, just to be fully transparent:

I usually keep one account logged in at a time on my mobile device (one logged out).

But both accounts are used from the same device and same internet/IP.

👉 Could this setup be flagged by Adobe as risky or a violation, even if I don’t use both accounts simultaneously?

Any advice, experience, or recommendations would be really helpful.

Thanks so much in advance!

If your accounts were created within the rules on multiple accounts at the time before the rules were updated, multiple accounts were grandfathered in.

Since you already have multiple accounts, you can ask Adobe Stock to combine them for you, or not. It's your choice.

Personally, I don't see much point in maintaining separate accounts, unless one of your portfolios contains close to 1 million assets.

Hi Nancy,

Thank you for your helpful response.

I already have multiple contributor accounts that were created before the policy was updated, and I saw your suggestion about the option to merge them. I would like to know how I can proceed with that.

Could you please guide me on:

1. How to request Adobe Stock to merge my accounts?

2. What’s the correct way to contact them for this purpose?

3. Is there a specific form or email I should use?

I would really appreciate your help and any further instructions.

Thanks again!

There is no option to merge accounts. As you started like this, keep the accounts as they are, and continue contributing as you are used to.

I said in my post:

If that changes, Adobe will notify you and probably will merge your accounts.

It did not yet change. If and when it changes will be pure speculation.
