Questions about Mass Rejection Due To Quality Issues

Hi,

I'm a professional fine art photographer just getting into Adobe Stock photography. I've had more than half of my images rejected, and I understand the logic on a lot of them. Minor things that I am learning are issues (macro focus, etc). However, all of the attached images were rejected due to quality issues, and I would appreciate some guidance. Thank you for the feedback!

Hi @hi_imnew ,

Too much of your first image is out of focus. You seem to place your focus too far in the distance and also had insufficient depth.

The second and third images have noise grains

The fourth image have noise grains and color fringing.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

Hello,

I think your composition could be improved in Photo 0068—the angle could be better, and your framing, as well as your last photo of the graveyard and cat_stock!

Quality also includes composition—not only the technical parameters.

This frame makes the asset look crooked.

I only examined the first photo of the sand dune. Nice photo! Unfortunately, I did find some slight problems which may be the reason a picky reviewer rejected it. Looking at the histogram, the photo shows a high contrast and an absence of midtones. Bringing up the exposure slightly solves that problem. At 300% a little noise is seen in the sky which can easily be corrected and a 1 pixel wide halo is vissible. I do not know if that is a problem at 300%.

Enlarge the image to 100% and check for noise and focus.
Also check that the horizontal and vertical directions are correct.

There are already a large number of cats registered, so the screening is strict.
Your image will not pass the screening if it is just in focus.

MG_4959 copy.jpg - the background appears to be a bit noisy and there's some chromatic aberration in the tree branches.

jessrhodes_cat_stock.jpg - noise in the foreground and should be straightened
