Upload rejected images after corrections?

New Here ,
Apr 21, 2024 Apr 21, 2024

Hi there,

unfortunately some of my uploaded images were rejected due to quality issues. Now I'm wondering if I could revise and improve some of these images and then give it another try. Or would that be considered spam because the pictures have already been rejected? I'm still relatively new here and have no experience with it. I would be very happy if you could share your experiences with me!

Hi @nikki36879849ajec ,

When your file is refused, a thumbnail is created to notify you that the file is refused and why. It is left there as record so that you can refer to it at any time. However, the original file is deleted from the Adobe platform. Therefore, resubmitting the same file after making corrections is not considered spam.

Best wishes

No, that will not be considered as spam. You are allowed to resubmit after addressing the issues. For some assets, I had up to 4 iterations (the fourth was the good one). But that was for IP refusals, where I did not understand what the offending element was. So I submitted each time step by step a differently edited asset.

You can resubmit images if you feel confident what the problem(s) are and correct them. Myself, I usually wait a few weeks before re-submitting and work on new material in the mean time, but it's probably not necessary to do so.

It's probably a good idea, to resubmit only after a while, as from a distance, you may see your asset differently when revisiting it. It's not required from a stock perspective.

Yep. If it turns out to be an obvious blatant error that I simply overlooked and I could slap myself for missing it and wasting a moderator's time, I'll resubmit such an asset sooner than ones where the offending issue or issues are less apparent. Advances in the technology have helped as well. While I do fancy myself an above average retoucher, generative fill and expand have saved the day for a number of previously rejected assets that my "particular set of skills" were previously unable to correct..

Yes, I have frequently had images accepted after re-editing and resubmitting. If it gets rejected a second time, I give it up and move on to something else.
