Can't change text in motion graphics template?

I got a motion graphics template from Adobe Stock (called Tricolor Lower Thirds).

In the settings, there is a slider to choose between 6 different graphic styles, and each graphic style has different placeholder text. However, only the first style setting shows its placeholder text under the Captions/Graphics panel where I can change it. If I choose any other text style, that placeholder text doesn't show up anywhere, and thus I can't change it.. It's only ever the 1st graphic style's placeholder text that appears as editable, even if I am on a different style option..

Any thoughts?
