I would use standard sharpening for screen. If you are not cropping your pics to a square format simply set dimensions of Short Edge 1080 and LR will automatically set the other dimension based on the original aspect ratio. In any event I think Instagram is moving away from square formats entirely.

Try 1080 x 1080 @72 sRGB Experiment with different quality settings between 75 & 100 as Instagram will apply standard compression.

It’s normally done in Survey View - click the icon to the right of XY on the toolbar or press N on the keyboard. If you set the filter to un-flagged, each time you mark an image with P or X it will disappear from view until you reach the last image.

If you originally registered your product the serial number will be stored in your Adobe Account. Sign in with your Adobe ID (email address & password) and choose the tab “Plans & Products” Then view your products. Every registered application should be shown with serial numbers. To see a list of your registered products and their serial numbers, go to My Account

You can use the link below. If you are uninstalling you will need to download LR6 first; then download the 6.4 update. Re-installing is often recommend if there are problems updating. It is normally necessary to pull out the white cardboard inner box to find it or there could be a sticker on the disk wrapper. The system may be different in Germany and I suggest you go back to the reseller or their website to ask for instructions.

No. To be clear it would only be lost due to a disk failure and update of OS following installation of a new hard drive. Updating the OS on existing hardware has no effect on activation.

Activation is hardware specific. When a drive fails and is replaced or a new OS installed the previous activation will be lost and the new hardware will be recognized as a different computer. Only Adobe support can deal with such a situation.

When you installed LR CC 2015 did you upgrade your earlier catalog? Normally everything should transfer including presets but you may need to copy from your previous version if third party presets have not installed. From LR CC 2015 click the menu: Lightroom >> Preferences >> Presets (tab) To show the system location click the button “Show Lightroom Presets Folder” You can then double-click on Lightroom and again on Develop Presets. Drag your Kellie Hatcher folder into Develop Presets. On Mac the default location is usually: Macintosh HD\Users\User Name\Library\Application Support\Adobe\Lightroom Windows – go to: Edit >> Preferences >> Presets (tab) Default location: C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom
