Is there a way to create Timeline Zoom presets in Premiere? It would save me a monstrous amount of time if I could save timeline zoom presets and map them to my keyboard. Is there an option in Photoshop, similar to "Sync Settings" in Premiere, that saves my Actions to Creative Cloud and lets me migrate my Actions when installing a new version or when logged to Creative Cloud as myself on another computer (ex. at work)? Isn't that what the Creative Cloud is for, to be able to "carry" my settings to other computers and easily sync when updating?   I saw this option, but it doesn't make nearly as much sense as "Sync Settings" in Premiere. I'm working on a project that lives on an external hard drive. The hard drive will be passed on to an editor, but may be worked on by others in the future. The project had been worked on by others before I got it today. When I launched the Premiere project today, Premiere started building a bunch of .mxfindex files next to the original media (in the camera card folders). 1. To put a watermark over a sequence, I put a .PNG with an alpha channel on the top video layer (V3) and adjusted it's opacity in Effect Controls to 50%. There are sections in the sequence where I dip to black for a second or so. I put clips of generated black video on V1 in those sections for a better AAF export to DaVinci. When the playhead gets to those black video sections, the opacity on V3 doesn't work. I tried putting a black Legacy Title in its place (black rectangle filling the frame), but that doesn't work either.   If I disable the black video clip, the opacity works. Any idea why this is? ... I'm incredibly frustrated with Acrobat DC. I remember Acrobat 7 being so much better. 1.) "Reduce File Size" used to be WAY better. 2.) Resizing pages (ex. to Letter size) is practically impossible. I've tried using Pre-Flight; I'm semi-techie, but that's way too deep in the weeds for me. I used to resize using "Print to PDF". At low compression, the loss in image quality was totally acceptable. 3.) I think cropping used to be better? I'd like to be able to crop a constrained aspect ratio (ex. Letter size). 4.) I remember text recognition OCR being way better also. Text recognition on Acrobat DC is useless. Canon's IRIS on my HP is so much better. I'm actually printing the file, then scanning it, to use my HP's IRIS - since Acrobat's OCR is so worthless. I love Creative Cloud except for how awful Acrobat DC is. I'm ALWAYS trying to figure out where a .pdf lives on my internal hard drive (Mac OS X El Capitan). The only way I know how to find out is to go to "Document Properties" / "Description". Every time I open "Document Properties", Acrobat DC goes to the "Initial View" tab by default. 1.) Is there an easier way to figure out where my .pdf lives on my internal hard drive? 2.)
