Trying to trigger an effect function from outside the effect. I apply both effects to a layer, and then trigger the message, but it's not recieved on the other end. I believe I'm able to send AEGP_EffectCallGeneric() correctly by targeting the right layer (following the ProjDumper / Shifter examples), but I'm not able to trigger the other effect with PF_Cmd_COMPLETELY_GENERAL. Does anyone know how to trigger a function living in an Effect from ExtendScript (excluding user-visible parameter changes)? I know you can load a .dll and execute from the ExtendScript side, which I still have to look into, but wasn't sure if that's the best approach. Thanks! ... View more

So when I export a sequence from Premiere to Audition, the Speed/Rate of audio clips gets ignored (see above how the audio clip selected is the proper length in Audition, but the sound waves aren't stretched as they are in Premiere below). Only workaround I've found is to Render and Replace all stretched audio in Premiere before exporting. Has anyone else run into this issue or found any workarounds? I'm used to exporting audio with handles for my audio tech which is why I'm asking. Thanks! ... View more

Does anyone know of a way to consistently access the active Comp? I'm currently using app.project.activeItem, however that only works if the last thing you selected was the comp or timeline. If you have a footage item selected in your project panel, for example, then I don't see a way to access the active Comp. Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks! ... View more

Is there a way to override Premiere Pro shortcuts when your custom CEP Panel is in focus?
