GREP as a part of paragraph style options can not add, remove or replace any characters. Just think about it as a style. Styles change formatting, not content. is there a way for a Find/Change to work continuously? Nope. maybe a better solution is to manually delete all the spaces between the colon and the text and then use GREP to automatically add space or a space character. No point doing this. Remember, you can't add anything using just style! When your text is all here, just run Find/Change once. Think about Scope setting, maybe restrict replacements to specific paragraph style… You know your project better. That said, use settings in F/C panel window, and then hit Change All. If settings are correct, no need to stop on every found space. A drawback vs GREP as a style: any newly added text will not catch those earlier changes automatically. No way. Sure, Mike my own practice is to avoid placing jpegs at all, especially those of unknown origin. They too often are the culprit of pdf export errors, when you're on a deadline. Another thing, they're rarely good enough 'as is'. Most of the time you'll want to fine-tune in PS shadows, colors, brightness… whatever. And then, sure, save as tiff or psd (if layers / transparency is involved). Still don't like not flattened tiffs (yeah, old school). Hi Mike, In your InDesign installation folder, Required subfolder, there must be TextWalker.rpln plugin. Check its creation date. If it is different (newer) then neighboring files, your ID is patched. Not an elegant solution, I know  BTW, another thing that bothers me is InDesign installation path in that vbs Adobe provides. It is hard coded to Program Files. What if one installed Indesign, say, in C:\Adobe\InDesign? Like I do from the beginning of times? Covering to path? What is it? Converting to outlines? Bullets / numbers applied through the bulleting / numbering option are not text actually, that's why you need to convert it in order to retain on outlining. In general, you should never oh never outline live text in InDesign, except a few special cases. If your printer requires this, sounds like they're a few generations behind in their facilities. \x{20} or \x{0020} is unicode character You may enter as many zeroes before 20 as you like, they do nothing.  I mean, \x{0000000020} will do exactly the same: will pick up all *regular* spaces (the ones you get by hitting a space bar), and will ignore all other flavors. It struggles to keep ID and PS just running simultaneously. I'm only a *guest star* in that office, coming once a week to do some final touches to layout, and prepare the output. Hi, Uwe, thank you for your comment and sorry for the weekend delay. Your post, my own understanding and absence of any other comments make me sure this just can't be done directly from print-ready layout. In this project, I use a script to export final package for output in one go: 3 versions of pdf, and 2 of jpegs. Only this little one requires additional manipulations to *break* aspect ratio. Now I grab one of generated pdfs, drop it onto Photoshop window (only the 1st page is needed), and run pre-saved action, which does the job instantly. Still two steps, in any way.
