When we copying the slides from one project and paste it in a new pne, Master page won't copy along with it. So you need to copy the Master pages and paste them seperatly. Can you try that and apply the Master page and see if that will help. Thanks Priyank

I need a hint. The print widget is on the slide and the printer prints from this computer for other documents, but will not print the slide. I need to direct that command (widget) to my printer. I do not see an option.

Hi Lokesh, If you read this article http://captivatedev.com/2010/11/05/adobe-captivate-5-web-page-widget/ there is a entry which you need to change after you publish it to Flash. Open .htm file in Notepad and change this entry and then play it. NOTE: The published .htm file needs to have one change where the wmode should be set to “opaque” or “transparent” instead of “window”. ? 1 so.addParam( "wmode" , "opaque" ); Hope this helps. You need to check the Flash Global Security settings on your laptop to see if you have set up the published folder location as a trusted location. In Flash 11.3 you should be able to do this by going to Control Panel > Flash Player Settings Manager > Advanced tab and then scrolling down to find Trusted Locations. This should not be an issue if you are serving content from a web server over HTTP to run in a browser.

Hi Phil, As Rick mentioned Microsoft HTML help(CHM) has it's own viewer and if you try to open that in any browser it will give you a prompt to save the file however it won't open in Browser. I guess you're talking about Webhelp. Then you can follow Peter Grainge's site (grainge.org) and search for the snippet on Chrome. Thanks Priyank

Jay, as Priyank mentioned those two 'golden' sliders allow you to select a portion of the video to play when you use the play button on the timeline: The darker portions will not be played when I use the playbar, only the section between the two selectors will play.

Hi There, When you will purchase a DVD, you will get both 32bit version and 64 bit version in a single DVD. When you run the DVD it will prompt you to install the 32 bit or 64 bit version in your machine. Thanks Priyank

Thanks but that won't work. I need the _up state to be completely invisible. Changing a transparent button's transparency or border changes all three states.

for the record, I had this same problem on one of my machines, but not the other. On the problem PC, the problem was the same wtih Captivate 5.5 and 6. Saving the PowerPoint as a PPT seems to have fixed it.

As a software developer I read this discussion and shake my head. Does anybody test these "interactions" before they're shipped? I mean, Adobe Captivate is a commercial product, right? And it's fairly expensive. So I'd expect a fairly rigorous testing regime to be in place. Could we please have this issue addressed as a matter of urgency because I seriously don't have the time to look for workarounds for every bug.

Bump. I'm only showing the playbar for one slide (the one with an MP4 in it). I've killed all buttons apart from play, and don't want the user to be able to skip to a slide before/after. Any clever ways of doing this? bb

Captivate insert video as an object on the slide so its not possible to edit that video and apply any effect to it. its primarily done by Premier pro or After Effects and both are Adobe's product. Harpreet

Hi there, If your talking about Robohelp for Word, then you need to check it in Start>Robohelp 9>Robohelp for Word. If you cannot see there then it is not installed. As Jeff mentioned it is included in Robohelp package and you don't need to purchase suite for that. However when you will install the Rh in your machine, you will need to click on Robohelp component and check Robohelp for Word, by default it is not selected. So if it is not in your machine run the installer once again and check Robohelp for Word. Thanks
